“These Are Not True” — In A New Video, Abducted Oyo School Principal Denies That Kidnppers Requested ₦1bn, Sharia Law, Others

A new video has emerged showing the abd¥cted Oyo State principal, a woman, reiterating her denial of reports claiming that the abductors demanded ₦1 billion ransom, the release of certain individuals, and the implementation of Sharia law in Nigeria.

In the video, she dismissed the circulating claims as false, insisting they do not reflect reality in captivity.

She said: “These are not true. Today makes it the 24th day that we have been in this place, and it seems that some people are making our problems more complicated. We were shown some print media where it was stated that these people that abducted us requested the release of some people, requested a billion naira, and requested Sharia to be entrenched in the country. These are not true.”

She maintained that the allegations being attributed to the kidnappers are misleading and untrue.
