Outrage As University Student Allegedly Assaulted By Security Over Suspension (VIDEO)

A disturbing video has surfaced showing a female student of the University of the Niger, Iyienu, being allegedly humiliated and physically assaulted by campus security personnel while being forcefully evacuated from the university premises.

The incident reportedly occurred after the student was suspended by the institution’s management, following the leak of her private photos by her ex-boyfriend. Sources close to the matter allege that the student had earlier reported the blackmail attempt by her former partner to the school authorities, after refusing to give in to his demands.

Instead of addressing the blackmail allegation, the university reportedly placed her on suspension—a decision that has sparked public outrage on social media, especially after visuals of the forcible removal and alleged manhandling by school security went viral.

Students’ rights advocates and civil society groups have condemned the action, calling for a thorough investigation into the conduct of the university authorities and its security personnel.
