
Following a high-level security meeting at the Presidential Villa on Thursday, National Security Adviser (NSA), Mr. Nuhu Ribadu, has assured Nigerians that the Federal Government is taking decisive steps to tackle the nation’s security challenges.
Speaking to journalists shortly after the meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ribadu disclosed that the President is “deeply worried and concerned” about the state of security across the country.
“Mr. President is worried and concerned and is working hard to ensure we restore peace and unity,” the NSA said.
Ribadu highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration with state governments and security agencies, noting that progress is being made.
“We are getting the cooperation of the leadership on the state level and we believe we are on the right course and will be on top of the situation,” he added.
The meeting, which included heads of various intelligence and security agencies, comes amid renewed calls for action following recent incidents of violence and insecurity in parts of the country. Continue… Your… Reading
