Tragedy struck in Zaria, Kaduna State, as a woman identified only as Khadija has allegedly beaten her 11-year-old daughter, Fadila, to death over a missing ₦100.
According to eyewitnesses and preliminary reports, the heartbreaking incident occurred earlier this week in a residential area of Zaria. Khadija was said to have flown into a rage after accusing her daughter of misplacing the money. In what neighbors described as a prolonged and brutal beating, young Fadila reportedly succumbed to her injuries shortly afterward.
