BREAKING: Putin Defends Iran, Criticizes U.S. Withdrawal from Nuclear Deal (VIDEO)

Russian President Vladimir Putin has come to Iran’s defense amid rising tensions over its nuclear program, pointing to Tehran’s past compliance with the original Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also known as the Iran nuclear deal.

Speaking during a press briefing, President Putin emphasized that Iran had fulfilled its obligations under the agreement until former U.S. President Donald Trump unilaterally withdrew from the deal in 2018.

Why the hell should Iranians comply with the demands of the U.S. and EU anymore?” Putin asked, questioning the legitimacy of renewed Western pressure on Tehran.

The Russian leader’s remarks come at a time of mounting international concern over potential military action and diplomatic fallout in the Middle East.

Moscow has consistently maintained that dialogue and adherence to international agreements are key to stability in the region.
