An 18-year old class teacher, Mark Okon, has been arrested and charged in Lagos State for allegedly engaging his 8-year old pupil in sex inside the class room and was exposed by the victim.
Ondopress reports that the incident happened on 26th May, 2025, at the school premises located at No. 20, Akporuje Street, Off Balogun bus Stop, Ago-Okota, Lagos, where the suspect was employed as an auxiliary teacher.
According to the Police, the owner of the school asked the victim to go to the classroom to bring a text book after the school had closed while the suspect was alone in the classroom.
When she got to the classroom, the suspect closed the door and asked her to lie down. He penetrated her and asked her not to tell anyone about it.
However, when the victim got home, she informed her mother about what happened and the matter was reported to the Police at Ago palace Division. Thus the suspect was arrested and transferred to the Gender Section of the Lagos State Police Command for interrogation.
After thorough interrogation, the Police found him culpable and consequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence which attracts several years of imprisonment.TAP HERE TO READ THE FULL STORY ▶▶▶▶
