Gareth Bale has revealed his consortium has submitted a fresh offer to take over Cardiff City, calling it “more than fair.”
The former Real Madrid and Wales superstar has long expressed interest in owning his hometown club and making a lasting impact.
Bale previously confirmed talks were underway, with a letter of intent already sent to current owner Vincent Tan weeks ago.
Initial reports claimed the group tabled a £40m bid, but club sources later denied any formal offer had been submitted.
Now speaking to FOS Today, Bale confirmed a brand-new proposal is officially on the table, pending a response from Tan.
“It’s exciting news. We’ve made a new offer, which I believe is more than fair,” Bale told reporters earlier this week.
Bale’s group reportedly includes local investors and global sports entrepreneurs aiming to modernize the club both on and off the pitch, reports Wales.
The consortium envisions a revitalized Cardiff City with stronger community ties, modern infrastructure, and ambitions to return to the Premier League.
Tan has yet to respond publicly, though sources say he’s considering all options as pressure from fans continues to mount.
If accepted, Bale’s takeover could mark a new, transformative era for the Bluebirds—and Welsh football as a whole.
