Tottenham Hotspurβs new manager Thomas Frank has a lot to do this summer.
Spurs suffered a disappointing Premier League campaign, where they finished in 17th place.
However, they went on to secure their first trophy in 17 years as they won the UEFA Europa League.
As a result they have secured UEFA Champions League football and a spot in the UEFA Super Cup.
Ange Postecoglou was sacked during the summer and replaced by Frank, who had an impressive spell as Brentford boss.
So far this summer, Spurs have spent big.
Ghanian winger Mohammed Kudus arrived from West Ham United for a fee of β¬63.8 million.
Mathys Tel (β¬35 million) and Kevin Danso (β¬25 million) both made their loan moves permanent.
Centre-backs Luka Vuskovic and Kota Takai arrived for smaller fees, combining for less than β¬20 million.
So far this summer, no players who played for the club last season have left for a fee.
Tottenham appear to be wanting to add more to a team that will want to cope better across multiple competitions in 2025/26.
Tottenham Hotspur in talks with Β£50 million Burnley star
According to reports, Tottenham are in talks to sign Burnley defender Maxime Estève.
Estève, 23, joined Burnley on loan in February 2024 and made his move permanent the following summer.
He went on to make 48 appearances during Burnleyβs EFL Championship winning season, one where they amassed 100 league points.
Estève, who represented France in the 2024 Summer Olympic Games, is said to be valued at around £50 million.
This will come as a blow to Burnley, who allowed just 16 goals in their entire league campaign, tying a record for most clean sheets in an EFL campaign.
Meanwhile, for Tottenham, they get a young talent in for a new era at the football club.
