
In a move that adds to the ongoing shake-up in Nigeria’s political landscape, Hon. Oluwole Oke, a prominent member of the House of Representatives, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Oke, who has served six consecutive terms representing the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency of Osun State, confirmed his resignation in a letter submitted to the House leadership on Thursday.
While the lawmaker did not immediately announce his next political move, insiders suggest he may be aligning with the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
