Nigerian Army Raids Criminal Hideouts in Oshodi and Mushin, Lagos

Troops of the Nigerian Army conducted coordinated raids on suspected criminal hideouts in the Oshodi and Mushin areas of Lagos State, officials confirmed on Thursday.

The operation, aimed at flushing out criminal elements and restoring public confidence, was carried out over the weekend following intelligence reports of increased gang activity and illegal arms possession in the affected neighborhoods.

According to military sources, several suspects were apprehended during the raid, and various weapons and illicit substances were recovered. The Nigerian Army said the operation is part of broader efforts to enhance security across key urban centers in the country.
