The CDS participated in a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, symbolizing Nigeria’s tribute to the heroes of WWII. He was accompanied by Major General U.A. Yusuf, Commander of the Nigerian Army Infantry Corps, and Brigadier General Obinna Azuikpe, Principal General Staff Officer to the CDS.

This event reminds us of the high price paid for peace and the responsibility we all share to preserve it,” the CDS said during a brief exchange with reporters.
