BREAKING: Police Nab Robbery Suspects, Recover Stolen Vehicle in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of two suspected armed robbers and the recovery of a stolen vehicle following a coordinated intelligence-led operation in the state.

Spokesman of the Command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, disclosed in a statement on Saturday that the suspects were apprehended by operatives attached to the Yolde Pate Divisional Police Headquarters, under the leadership of SP Abdullahi Abubakar.

The arrested suspects have been identified as Emmanuel Sale, 28, and Jibrilla Hassan, 36, both residents of Sabon Gari, Jalingo, Taraba State.

According to Nguroje, the operation was carried out after officers received credible intelligence on the suspects’ movements, which led to their swift arrest and the successful recovery of the stolen vehicle.

Reacting to the development, the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Dankombo Morris, commended the officers involved for their prompt response and professionalism. He further ordered the transfer of the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yola for discreet investigation and diligent prosecution.

The police command reiterated its commitment to ridding the state of criminal elements and urged residents to continue providing useful information that can aid security operations.
