2027: Over 2.5M Registered For PVC In Two Of INEC online Pr-registration
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that over 2.5 million Nigerians successfully registered for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) during the second week of its ongoing online pre-registration exercise.
The figures, covering the period between August 18 and 31, 2025, show a total of 2,532,062 registrations nationwide, with Lagos, Osun, and Ogun States recording the highest numbers.
According to INEC’s breakdown, Lagos State led with 355,372 registrants, followed by Osun with 474,372, and Ogun with 265,399. The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) also recorded a significant turnout with 152,250 new entries.
