According to authorities, at least two people, including an infant, were killed and 20 others injured in the capital.

Ukraine’s Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko confirmed that the Cabinet of Ministers building in the Pecherskyi district suffered damage to its roof and upper floors.

Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that the building caught fire following a drone strike. Firefighters battled the fire through the night.

Elsewhere in the capital, residential blocks and warehouses were struck, with emergency crews pulling victims from rubble.

A 32-year-old woman and her two-month-old son were confirmed among the dead. Several survivors, including a pregnant woman, were hospitalized with serious injuries.

The Ukrainian air force said Russia launched a record number of 805 drones and 13 missiles overnight, most of which were intercepted. However, falling debris and direct hits caused destruction across Kyiv, Odesa, Kremenchuk, Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia.
