Dr Frances Ben-Ushie, State Coordinator of the NYSC made the call on Wednesday in Benin at a one-day capacity building workshop for Corps Liaison Officers (CLOs) and Community Development Service (CDS) leaders

The event, themed ”Youth Civic Engagement and National Re-orientation: Empowering CDS Leaders as Frontrunners of Change”, was organised in collaboration with Florish Foundation for Women and Youths.

Ben-Ushie reminded corps leaders that the NYSC was established in 1973 to heal and unite the country after the civil war, stressing that 52 years after, the mandate was now in their hand, and..  Read . .More
