PDP Expels Top Members After National Convention — Party Warns Public Against Dealings (PHOTOS)

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the expulsion of several high-profile members following resolutions reached at its 2025 Elective National Convention held between November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The announcement, made public on Thursday through the party’s official X page, declared that the affected individuals are no longer recognized as members of the PDP and no longer hold any office within the party structure.

According to the statement signed by the National Chairman, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, the expulsion was carried out in accordance with the PDP Constitution (as amended).

The party warned the general public, political stakeholders, and institutions against engaging with the expelled members, stressing that any interactions or representations made by them “are not authorized by our great Party.”

“Members of the public dealing with these individuals are doing so at their own peril,” the statement added.

The development marks one of the most sweeping disciplinary actions by the PDP in recent years, signaling intensified internal restructuring and a firm stance on party loyalty ahead of major political activities across the country.
