Iran War: Nigerian Government Issues Safety Advisory to Nationals in Kuwait, Bahrain

The Embassy of Nigeria, Kuwait has issued a circular advising Nigerian nationals residing in the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain to remain vigilant amid prevailing regional developments.

In a notice dated March 1, 2026, the Embassy — which has concurrent accreditation to Bahrain — urged Nigerians to strictly observe safety guidelines and comply with official advisories issued by host governments.

The mission encouraged nationals to remain calm, monitor local news updates, and follow official announcements from authorities in both Kuwait and Bahrain.
According to the statement, the Embassy is closely monitoring the situation and maintaining contact with leaders of various Nigerian community groups.

To enhance communication, a dedicated mobile and WhatsApp line has been created for inquiries and updates.

Nigerians requiring assistance were advised to contact the Embassy via email at nigeriakuwait@yahoo.com or call/WhatsApp +965 9923 8835.

The Embassy also invited nationals to join its official Kuwait/Bahrain WhatsApp group for timely information and support.

The advisory comes as diplomatic missions worldwide continue to monitor regional developments and prioritize the safety of their citizens abroad.
