Troops Liberate Mansur Village In Bauchi During Counter-terrorism Operation

Troops of the 3 Division, Nigerian Army have successfully liberated Mansur Village and nearby settlements in Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State during the ongoing Operation BUGUN KARKANDA III.

The operation, led by Major General Folusho Oyinlola, General Officer Commanding 3 Division and Commander of Operation ENDURING PEACE, targeted armed terrorists and criminal gangs threatening communities in the area.

Military sources said troops launched a coordinated offensive on identified flashpoints, dislodging terrorists who attempted to take control of the village.

Following the successful assault, troops intensified patrols across Alkaleri LGA to stabilise the area and ensure residents safely resume normal activities.

The GOC commended the troops and urged them to sustain pressure on the criminals while maintaining strict protection for civilians.See More, Details

He noted that Operation BUGUN KARKANDA III forms part of ongoing military efforts to dominate insurgent corridors and restore lasting peace across the North-East and North-Central regions of Nigeria.
