TRAGEDY IN ANAMBRA: Man Arrested After Chasing Wife With Machete — Newborn Baby Falls, Dies on the Spot in Awka (WATCH VIDEO)
A heartbreaking incident has occurred at Kwata Slaughter area in Awka, Anambra State, where a man has been arrested after allegedly chasing his wife with a machete, leading to the death of their newborn baby.
According to reports, the woman was holding the baby while fleeing from her husband, who was armed with a machete. In the chaos, the infant slipped from her grasp and fell to the ground, dying instantly at the scene.
The suspect has been identified as being from Ezeagu, Enugu State. He is currently in police custody as investigations commence.See more , details. .
