A military installation hosting United States troops in Bahrain has reportedly come under attack amid rising tensions between Iran and the United States.

The attack targeted Sheikh Isa Air Base, where American forces are stationed. According to reports, the strike involved a combined assault using ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones.

Witnesses said a large plume of smoke was seen rising from the base shortly after the explosions.

In a statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed the strike damaged key military infrastructure at the facility, including radar systems, aircraft hangars, the central operational platform and fuel depots used by U.S. Air Force tanker aircraft.
