South African Lt Gen Thabang Lesia Appointed Free State Police Commissioner

Lieutenant General Thabang Lesia has been appointed as the new Free State Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service (SAPS), succeeding the retired Lieutenant General Baile Motswenyane.

National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola confirmed Lesia’s promotion from Major General, citing his nearly 40 years of experience in policing.
