Fresh APC Leadership Crisis Erupts as Faction Declares ‘Authentic’ Chairperson
A new leadership crisis has emerged within the All Progressives Congress (APC) following a press release by a faction claiming control of the party’s “authentic” structure.
In the statement, Uno Ekong declared himself National Secretary and affirmed Hafsatu Danladi as the legitimate National Chairperson of the APC, rejecting the leadership of Nentawe Yilwatda.
The faction called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to immediately recognize its leadership, insisting it represents the true continuity of the party based on its constitution and due process.
