“What a contradiction”-Presidency Excited Over El-Rufai Comment On 4 Years Term Campaign
The Presidency has expressed excitement after former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai stated that “four years is not enough for a political office holder to make meaningful changes.”
However, in a statement on Monday, Presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga lamented that El-Rufai is at the forefront of a gang of political desperados plotting President Tinubu’s ouster, just two years into his tenure. “What a contradiction,” he said.
He stated that, in contrast to the political laggards and underachievers who were once governors in Anambra, Rivers, and Kaduna, President Bola Tinubu and his team have implemented meaningful changes in the country over the past two years, positioning it on the path of prosperity.
