Bwala, speaking on the strategic importance of Lagos, said the state should not be seen through narrow ethnic or regional lenses, but rather as a shared national asset.

“Whatever benefits Lagos, benefits the country,” he said. “The idea that more is invested in Lagos State than any other state should be put into proper context. Lagos is no man’s land; Lagos is the hub of Nigeria, the pride of the country, the beacon of growth for the country.”
