Legit.ng reported that former Kaduna state governor Nasir el-Rufai, in an interview, claimed that President Tinubu would finish third in the 2027 elections and predicted that Tinubu would not make it to the runoff.

According to El-Rufai, who was once a prominent campaigner for Tinubu, the president’s current political trajectory lacked a viable path to victory.

Speaking with Legit.ng on Tuesday, September 2, Dare Glintstone Akinniyi backed El-Rufai’s prediction.
