African Democratic Congress (ADC) Blames APC For Attack On Members In Lagos

The was reacting the the attack on its members in Lagos on Saturday where some key leaders of the Labour Party joined the ADC at an event held at the Alimosho local government area.

The event, which had the LP presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Mr Peter Obi in attendance, saw the LP’s Lagos governorship candidate in 2023, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and other chieftains declaring for the ADC.

But the event was disrupted by armed thugs who unleashed violence on party supporters, with many of them escaping with varying degrees of injuries.

The ADC, in a statement on Sunday by its spokesman, Bolaji Abdullahi, condemned the latest attack on the party’s members at the event, especially the desecration of a nearby Church building by the thugs.
