According to Vanguard, the assailants invaded the family home in Sakpefu on Sunday night, shooting sporadically before taking the victims to an unknown location.

Victims identified as Hajiya Fatima and her daughter, Amina.Gunmen jumped the compound fence and fired shots to intimidate residents.

The APC chairman was present but avoided abduction during the incident.Kidnappers operated for several minutes before escaping with the victims.

Kwara Police Commissioner stated he was not yet informed of the incident.Patigi and Kwara North have recently experienced repeated kidnapping cases.
