Ogun State Ends Kindergarten, Nursery Graduation Parties

According to the new directive, graduation activities will now only be permitted for pupils completing terminal classes — Primary 6, Junior Secondary School 3 (JSS3), and Senior Secondary School 3 (SS3).
The government said the decision was taken to discourage the rising trend of elaborate ceremonies at the lower school levels, which it described as unnecessary and financially burdensome for parents.
