Di Matteo, who won the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea in 2012 as manager, claimed the Bundesliga giants were not transparent in their dealings over the striker’s transfer.
“Bayern lied to Chelsea about the Jackson deal,” Di Matteo alleged, insisting that the German club’s approach created unnecessary tension between the two sides.
Jackson, who joined Chelsea from Villarreal in 2023, was at the centre of transfer speculations linking him with Bayern Munich this summer.
