Ondopress reports that the incident happened on 4th August, 2025, at Shagari Estate, Ipaja area of Lagos, where they reside.

According to the Police, the suspect, Ismaila Akinola, who stays with the victim in the same apartment, went to cook noodles in the kitchen with his phone.

While he was cooking, he asked her to come and watch something on his phone. It turned out to be a pornographic video and he asked her to position herself on the chair for similar action.

He reportedly removed his boxer short, undid her pants and had sexual intercourse with her by penetration.
The matter later leaked and the victim was asked what happened. She narrated how the suspect lured her into the act without her consent and defiled her.
