Government Earns More from Our Business Than Shareholders – Dangote

Speaking at a recent engagement, Dangote disclosed that for every one naira generated by his group, government agencies take 50 kobo through various taxes.

“The government collects more money than what we shareholders take as dividends. It’s a win-win situation,” he stated.

Dangote further explained that over the years, his conglomerate has paid between ₦600 billion and ₦700 billion in taxes, underscoring its role in national revenue generation.

Addressing critics who accuse his businesses of dominating sectors, Dangote remarked:
