Lagos: 47-year Old Man Arraigned For Allegedly Setting Wife’s Clothes On Fire During Squabble
A 47-year old man, Chijioke Chukwu, has been arrested and charged in Lagos State for allegedly assaulting his wife, Chinenye Chukwu and setting her clothes in fire during a squabble. .. Read ..Full.. Article.. .
Ondopress reports that the incident happened on 13th February, 2025, at Egbesi Street, Ilasa-Maja area of Lagos, where they reside.
According to the Police, the man had a disagreement with the complainant over an undisclosed matter, which led to exchange of words. And in the process, he beat her mercilessly and inflicted injury on her.
Apart from inflicting injury on her, the man gathered her clothes and set them on fire while the wife was rushed to an undisclosed hospital for treatment over the injuries she sustained during the attack.
