Alas!! Sokoto Govt Suspends Six Principals For Alleged Exploitation Of Students

The Sokoto State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has suspended six school principals over alleged insubordination and unauthorised collection of fees tied to the Junior Secondary School examination results.

In a statement signed by the ministry’s Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Mohammad Iya, stated that the suspension was approved by the state Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Professor Ahmad Ladan Ala, and took effect on Monday.

The affected principals are from Nana Girls Secondary School, Sokoto; Government Day Secondary School (GDSS) Gagi; GDSS Mana; Giginya Memorial College; Mana Basic Secondary School, Sokoto; and GDSS Silame, with the latter suspended specifically for insubordination.. . Read ..Full.. Article.. .
