Lagos Command Police Arrest Man For Murder, 18 Others For Rioting In
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 55-year-old man in connection with a murder case on Lagos Island, and separately apprehended 18 individuals for their involvement in a violent protest at Tejuosho Market, Surulere.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Babaseyi Oluseyi, disclosed that the suspect, Samsideen Oladiti, popularly known as “Shamelon,” was arrested for two violent incidents — one involving assault and another leading to murder.
Oladiti allegedly attacked a dispatch rider on September 17, inflicting serious injuries using a helmet and his fists. The victim is currently receiving medical treatment.. . Read ..Full.. Article.. .
