Senator Ali Ndume, representing Borno South under the All Progressives Congress (APC), condemned the recent surge in terrorist attacks within his constituency, describing the situation as “deeply worrisome” and unacceptable.

In a statement on Thursday, he reported that Boko Haram insurgents brutally killed four farmers while they were working on their farms in Kwam village, near the Dille community in Askira-Uba Local Government Area.

Ndume noted that the victims were attacked during crop harvesting, highlighting the worsening security situation in remote areas that remain vulnerable despite years of military efforts.

“I am very much perturbed over the renewed attacks by Boko Haram terrorists in some parts of my constituency in the last week.
