BREAKING: Police Uncovered A Drug Lab In The Umhlatuzana Area
The discovery comes as part of disruptive operations conducted in Chatsworth.
It is being carried out by the DPCI, SAPS STF, SAPS Economic Infrastructure Task Team, SAPS KZN Counter Narcotics, SAPS KZN CI, SARS Customs Dog Unit and the Metro Police’s Drug Team, Tactical Support Unit, EITT, Trio Crimes, Business Forum Task Team, Special Projects, K9 and POP.
So far, suspects have been detained at the scene – including the property owner, who was previously arrested by the Metro Police Tactical Support Unit last year.
Drugs, guns and packaging materials have been found inside.
The quantities are still being determined.
This appears to be one of the major suppliers for drug dealers in the area.
