U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran’s naval and air capabilities have been effectively destroyed amid the ongoing conflict.

In a lengthy statement, Trump dismissed reports suggesting Iran has the upper hand, insisting instead that the country is “losing big.”

He alleged that Iran’s navy, air force, air defense systems, and radar capabilities have been wiped out, alongside significant damage to missile and drone production facilities.

Trump further claimed that Iranian leadership structures had been severely impacted, while also asserting that all of Iran’s mine-laying boats were destroyed.

The president said the United States is now working to secure and clear the Strait of Hormuz, describing it as a move to support global trade and energy supply.
