Good News: FG Raises Civil Servants’ Allowances, Introduces New Welfare Benefits
The Federal Government has approved an increase in allowances and welfare benefits to improve take-home pay for civil servants.
– Affects CONPSS & CONRAISS workers – Covers all grade levels (junior & senior staff) – Key allowances reviewed: DTA, estacode, book allowance – 100% Duty Tour Allowance (even for local training) – New exit package: 100% full emoluments + pension (from Jan 2026) – Employee Compensation Scheme for job related risks
Meanwhile, Oyo State Gov. Seyi Makinde approved ₦10,000 monthly transport support for workers (3 months).
