Angry Mob Burns To Ashes Three Suspected Killers of Plateau Monarch in Langtang North, Plateau State
Three suspected murderers of a traditional ruler in Langtang North, Plateau State, were reportedly set ablaze by an angry mob on Friday evening.
The suspects were linked to the killing of Ponzhi Kwallak, who was shot and attacked in his home on Thursday night, with reports saying they fled with his motorcycle and phone.
Community sources said the monarch’s death caused grief and tension. Witnesses reported the suspects were caught trying to sell the stolen motorcycle and confessed.
Some community members initially wanted to hand them over to security, but a group overpowered them, seized the suspects, and set them on fire near the Local Government Secretariat.
A resident, speaking anonymously, said the suspects confessed before being mobbed.Continue Your, Reading. .
