BREAKING: G-60 Lawmakers Storm Plenary, Insist On Minority Leader
Members of the G-60 opposition caucus in the House of Representatives stormed plenary on Thursday morning demanding that the House leadership address the minority leadership position, failure which plenary proceedings will be put on hold.
AIT.live gathered from some of the lawmakers that the group led by Ikenga Imo-Ugochinyere have thrown their weight behind member representing Sagbama-Ekeremor Federal Constituency of Bayelsa State, Fred Agbedi as Minority Leader and Abdusammad Dasuki, representing Kebbe-Tambuwal Federal Constituency of Sokoto State as Deputy Minority Leader.
This position is said to have reached following a peace deal between the group and the House leadership.
