Young Woman Charged With Attempted Murder After Shooting Incident At Rihanna’s House, Bail Set At $10.2 Million

A suspect has been arrested following a shooting incident at the Los Angeles home of global music star and businesswoman Rihanna.

Authorities identified the suspect as 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, who was taken into custody Sunday afternoon and later booked on attempted murder charges, according to reports from law enforcement sources. Bail was set at $10,225,000.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that multiple gunshots were fired at the singer’s mansion while she was inside the residence.

Investigators said the bullets struck the exterior of the home and a vehicle parked outside, but none penetrated the interior.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Sources familiar with the investigation revealed that the weapon allegedly used was an AR-style firearm.

Dispatch audio also indicated that the suspect’s Tesla was tracked by a police helicopter before officers intercepted the vehicle in a mall parking garage, where she was detained.

Police say the motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and investigations are ongoing.
