The Speaker of Iranian Parliament has indicated that Iran remains open to negotiations with the United States, but warned that any talks must be genuine and respect Iran’s rights.

In a statement, the speaker said Tehran would be willing to reach an agreement if Washington demonstrates readiness for what he described as a “real agreement” that acknowledges the rights of the Iranian nation.

He cautioned, however, that Iran would not tolerate negotiations used as a cover for pressure or deception, referencing the ongoing conflict as evidence of the country’s willingness to defend its position.

“ If they intend to use negotiations as a futile show or a deceptive operation, we are prepared to secure our rights through faith in God and reliance on the capabilities of our nation,” the statement read.
