One Injured In Bomb Attack On Colombia Military Base

AFP journalists saw a burnt-out bus just meters (yards) from the base. Soldiers were deployed nearby and streets cordoned off as police officers arrived.

A military source told AFP that two devices were thrown but one did not explode.

The army said dissidents from the disbanded guerrilla group FARC were suspected of being behind the attack.

FARC remnants who rejected a 2016 peace deal with the government have been active in trying to disrupt stalled peace talks with the current president, leftist Gustavo Petro.
