JUST IN: Gov. Sim Fubara Set to Join APC, Will Complete Term Without Seeking Re-election — Source Reveal

In what could become another major political shake-up, a reliable source has revealed that Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State is set to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to the source, the embattled governor, who has been at the center of a prolonged power tussle with his predecessor and political rival, is expected to officially align with the APC in the coming days.

The same source confirmed that Fubara will not face impeachment upon resuming his full executive duties, as part of a reported political truce.

Additionally, Ondopress learnt that the governor is said to have agreed not to seek a second term, opting instead to complete his current tenure under the APC platform.

If confirmed, this move would mark another major victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, following the reported defection of Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori earlier this week.

Neither Governor Fubara nor the Rivers State APC leadership has issued an official statement as of press time. Full Details
