BREAKING: Kenya Issues Urgent Warning to Its Citizens in South Africa
The Kenyan High Commission in Pretoria has told Kenyan nationals to stay vigilant and avoid protest areas following recent anti-immigrant demonstrations and incidents targeting foreigners.
They’ve advised Kenyans to always carry valid ID and report any trouble to SAPS while keeping the embassy informed.
Kenya is following in the footsteps of Ghana, Nigeria, Mozambique, and Botswana, which are other African countries that have warned their people about the tense situation on the ground in South Africa.
Citizens from Kenya are further encouraged to carry valid identification and relevant documentation at all times. In the event of any incident or emergency, Kenyan nationals are advised to report it to the South African Police Service and to inform the Kenya High Commission in Pretoria for appropriate assistance.
The High Commission remains available to provide support and may be contacted through the following channels.Full Details. .
