Police Locate Two Women from Viral Gauteng Firearms Video

The women, who reside in Ebony Park, Midrand, were observed being collected by an African male driving a white VW Polo. The vehicle was intercepted in the Kaalfontein area, and the two women were taken into custody and transported to Tembisa South SAPS.
The development comes a day after the arrest of two men, aged 21 and 34, directly linked to the firearms shown in the video. The men face charges under the Firearms Control Act for illegal possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition, as well as possession of a hijacked motor vehicle. They are expected to appear in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court next week.
Police had been actively seeking the women after the video circulated widely online, highlighting concerns over public safety and the irresponsible handling of weapons. Authorities continue to investigate the full circumstances, including the origin of the firearms.
The swift police response has drawn praise on social media, with many users commending the rapid identification and apprehension linked to the viral clip. Further updates are expected as investigations proceed.
