100-level University Student Stabbed To Death By His Elder Brother During A Dispute At The Institution’s Hostel In Delta

A 100-level student of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE) in Delta State has reportedly di£d after allegedly being st@bbed multiple times by his elder brother during a dispute at the institution’s Hostel .

The tragic incident occurred on Tuesday evening following a minor argument between the siblings that reportedly started over a pair of bathroom slippers.

According to report, the elder brother, identified as Joshua (also a 100-level student at FUPRE), called the victim to the hostel backyard before attacking him with a sharp object, inflicting fatal wounds on him.

The victim sustained severe injvries and was said to have crawled to another area of the hostel, where fellow students discovered him and raised the alarm. He was rushed for medical attention but was later confirmed d£ad, with his remains deposited in a mortuary. Joshua allegedly fled the scene immediately after the attack and remains at large.

The Vice-Chancellor of FUPRE, Professor Ezekiel Agbalagba, has confirmed the incident. The Delta State Police Command is investigating, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the suspect.
