PBAT Door-to-Door Movement Pledges Nationwide Mobilisation for Tinubu Ahead of 2027 Elections
The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has declared strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging to mobilise millions of Nigerians across the country ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during activities marking the build-up to the 2026 National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the National Coordinator of the campaign, Adekanbi Sunday Asuku, said Nigeria’s progress depends on continuity in governance. According to him, “the choice before Nigerians is Tinubu or Tinubu,” stressing that the current administration inherited longstanding national challenges that require sustained reforms and policy consistency to achieve lasting results.
Asuku disclosed that the movement has commenced nationwide mobilisation covering all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with emphasis on grassroots engagement through structured door-to-door campaigns. He explained that branded campaign vehicles and trained volunteers have already been deployed in several locations, while additional mobilisation resources are expected to roll out in the coming months to deepen voter outreach.
Describing the initiative as a “movement of the masses,” he noted that the campaign strategy prioritises direct engagement with ordinary citizens rather than relying solely on elite political endorsements. He argued that ongoing government programmes and economic reforms introduced by the administration demonstrate measurable progress that should be consolidated beyond the current tenure.
The message was delivered on behalf of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, identified as the Grand Patron and founder of the movement. He reaffirmed the group’s commitment to securing President Tinubu’s re-election and sustaining the administration’s policy direction.
The group also urged Nigerians to actively participate in the democratic process, describing the 2027 elections as a defining moment for national stability and development. It expressed confidence that its mobilisation drive would expand significantly nationwide as preparations for the polls gather momentum.
