Army Raises Alarm Over Low South-east Recruitment.
Anambra State recorded only 117 applications out of 38,000 nationwide, according to a senior army officer.
Uche Nnabuihe, a brigadier-general, has raised concerns about the low enlistment of South-east residents into the Nigerian army, revealing that Anambra State recorded only 117 applications out of 38,000 nationwide.
Mr Nnabuihe led an army delegation to sensitise youths in Awka, noting the figure was recorded on 7 April before a nationwide awareness campaign began and Continues Your, Reading. .
