“I Almost Wept”- Peter Fatomilola Reveals How Mr Macaroni Gave Him ₦1m After One Movie Scene

Veteran Nollywood actor Peter Fatomilola has recounted an emotional encounter with popular skit maker and actor Mr Macaroni, praising him for his generosity towards him and members of his family.

Fatomilola, while sharing his experience, said he first met Mr Macaroni at a movie location in Oyo State.

According to the veteran actor, he had completed his assignment on the set and was preparing to leave when Mr Macaroni approached him and offered to escort him to his car.

He said Mr Macaroni insisted on giving him transport money and surprised him by handing him ₦200,000.

Fatomilola said the gesture surprised him because the person who had hired him for the job that day had paid him ₦50,000, while Mr Macaroni, whom he had not previously known, voluntarily gave him a much larger amount.

He said the experience left him deeply grateful.

Mr Macaroni Later Invited Him for a Movie

The veteran actor said that about three months later, Mr Macaroni contacted him for another acting job.

Fatomilola said he honoured the invitation and, upon arriving at the movie location, discovered that he had been called specifically for a single scene.

According to him, he acted alongside veteran actor Pete Edochie.

After the scene, Fatomilola said Mr Macaroni extended his generosity to his family members.

He claimed that Mr Macaroni gave ₦100,000 to his son and ₦50,000 to his grandson, prompting him to wonder about the reason behind the unexpected gestures.

He said the biggest surprise came when Mr Macaroni called him aside and presented him with ₦1 million.

“I said, for what? Because it was just one scene I acted and he told me, ‘Daddy, everything is for you.’”

Fatomilola said he was deeply moved by the gesture and struggled to hold back his emotions.

“I almost wept. I am so grateful for what Mr Macaroni did to me.”

The veteran actor’s account has drawn attention to the relationship between younger entertainers and established figures in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, particularly gestures of support extended away from the public spotlight.
